Senior Distinguished Visiting Fellow, Bennett Institute for Public Policy, University of Cambridge
Philip Rycroft was a civil servant for 30 years. He worked for the devolved government in Scotland and for the UK government in Whitehall. A major focus through his career was on devolution and broader constitutional issues, including the impact of Brexit. These remain his interests in his new life as an academic and contributor to public debate. He is also active as a non-executive director, with a particular focus on the regulatory interface between business and government.
