Dr Mallik Tatipamula

Dr. Mallik Tatipamula has been a trailblazer in the telecommunications industry, and his contributions resulted in major advances and new directions. He performed a unique leadership role in delivering industry’s innovative products for telecommunication networks, working with global telecommunication operators, and in parallel working with academia, innovating for the future. He helped enable the telecommunication industry’s major architectural transitions — translating innovations into standards and technology developments that created the foundation of our increasingly connected world. He identified strategic opportunities while at Cisco, Juniper, F5 and Ericsson, implemented programs that fostered innovations with multi-billion-dollar impacts, and launched several products/solutions, many of which help bridge the digital-divide. He is an international fellow of the Royal Academy of Engineering (FREng), and Fellow of the Canadian Academy of Engineering (FCAE). He has received prestigious awards including IEEE Communications Society Distinguished Industry Leader, IET Achievement Medal in Telecommunications, CTO/Technologist of the Year from the World Communication Awards among others.
