Dr Harriet Harris
University Chaplain and Head of the Chaplaincy Service, University of Edinburgh
Revd Dr Harriet Harris is a theologian, writer, Head of Chaplaincy at the University of Edinburgh, and Convenor of the Doctrine Committee of the Scottish Episcopal Church. She is a Co-Director of the Edinburgh University Global Compassion Initiative, and delivers compassion training for NHS Scotland, universities, and Scottish Government. She is a coach and in-house trainer with One of Many, the UK’s largest network organisation for women leaders. Harriet hosts three podcast series: ‘Let’s Talk’, on mental health; ‘Being at University’, promoting inclusivity and diversity; and ‘The Chaplaincy of Joyful Abandon’, bringing paradox to matters of social importance.
