David Hare is an actuary with a keen interest in ensuring pension savers receive value for money and are equipped to make financial sense of their futures. After 26 years of in-house actuarial roles with various life companies, David finished his executive career as a partner with Deloitte. He now has a portfolio of non-executive roles in insurance and pensions, whilst pursuing his other keen interest in music.
David has a wide range of governance experience, including being President of the Institute and Faculty of Actuaries (2013–2014) and a member of the Board of Regents of Bethlehem University. He is married, with a grown-up son.
