Professor Alastair Vincent Campbell FRSE

Visiting Professor in Medical Ethics, National University of Singapore.

Professor Alastair Campbell is an internationally-recognised leader in the field of bioethics. He has played a significant role in the development of this important discipline and has taken major leadership roles in universities across the world. He was a key figure in the founding of research centres focused on bioethics and medical ethics in Otago, New Zealand; Bristol, UK; and the National University of Singapore. He is the author of more than 30 books and book chapters including ‘Moral Dilemmas in Medicine’ (1972), ‘The Body in Bioethics’ (2009) and ‘Bioethics: The Basics’ (2015).
