Irish–Scottish Relations
The RSE and the Royal Irish Academy (RIA) have submitted a joint response to the Scottish and Irish Governments’ strategic review of Irish–Scottish relations.
The joint response focuses on the contribution that the RSE and RIA can make to the review, drawing upon the multidisciplinary expertise within both of our Fellowships. Our response highlights Ireland and Scotland’s shared focus on research, development and innovation, and suggests ways in which Irish–Scottish research links, facilitated by RSE and RIA, could be strengthened to support economic and social prosperity in both countries.
